Growing in Grace and Gratitude (3 years old – 3rd grade) –
We will examine Old Testament stories that reflect worship – ways in which God meets us, calls us, and sends us. Beginning with the beginning, in Genesis 1, we celebrate grace, beauty, and joy in God’s good creation. Children hear that they are part of God’s activity in hte world – they are created in God’s image and God call them very good.
Students are divided into three age groups:
3 – 4 year olds – Meet in room 213
Kindergarten – 1st grade – Meet in room 212
2nd – 3rd grades – Meet in room 214
Challenger Class (grades 4 & 5) – Challenger Classroom 2nd Floor
4th and 5th graders are curious about their faith journey, have questions about what it means to be a Reformed Presbyterian and want to help others. Through weekly lessons, this group explores the 10 commandments, Psalm 23. the Lord’s Prayer and Jesus’ Parables. Service projects and other activities are scheduled throughout the year. Our Fall Retreat is scheduled for November 1 – 3 at Tickfaw State Park. Contact Michele Murphy for details.
Sunday Nursery Care (0-3 years old)
Our experienced sitter staff invites all children under the age of three into our fully equipped nursery and playroom. Our classrooms met all State requirements and we strive to maintain a safe and enriching environment for our youngest visitors. The staff is trained on church regulations and guidelines.
The Nursery is open each Sunday from 8:15 a.m. – 12:00pm and is located in the classroom off of Frampton Fellowship Hall on the first floor. Parents sign in children and leave a cell phone number. Please label all of your children’s supplies and give any specific directions for your child directly to the sitters.
