There are many ways for Youth (6th -12th grade students) to get involved in the life of the church and connect with others!
Youth Sunday School (9:30 – 10:15 AM)
We meet in the Youth Room on the third floor for a Bible Study and fellowship.
Sunday Youth Group (5 – 7 PM)
Our Jr. and Sr. High Youth groups meet for activities, games, study, fellowship, and dinner.
Throughout the year we also have service projects, small groups, mission trips, retreats, and conferences we attend.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, because many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need. Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47
In this New Testament scripture we see evidence of the foundations of the early church. In an effort stay true to the purest form of the church and its calling, we base our ministry on four foundations that are found in this scripture. We are also careful to stay within the Mission and Vision of the larger congregation of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church. These foundations are WORSHIP, SERVE, BELONG, and PRACTICE. Everything that we do as a Student Ministry will fall under one of these four foundational elements.
